Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? In the lane, snow is glistening A beautiful sight We’re happy tonight Walking in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird Here to stay is a new bird He sings a love song While we stroll along Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow, we can build a snowman We’ll pretend that he is Parson Brown He’ll say, are you married? We’ll say, no man But you can do the job when you’re in town Later on, we’ll conspire As we dream by the fire To face unafraid The plans that we’ve made Walking in a winter wonderland

You better watch out You better not cry You better not pout I’m telling you why Santa Claus is comin’ to town

He sees you when you’re sleeping He knows when you’re awake He knows if you’ve been bad or good So be good for goodness sake So you better watch out You better not cry You better not pout I’m telling you why Santa Claus is comin’ to town

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire Jack Frost nipping at your nose Yuletide carols being sung by a choir And folks dressed up like Eskimos
Everyone knows a turkey and some mistletoe Will help to make the season bright Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow Will find it hard to sleep tonight
They know that Santa’s on his way He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh And every mother’s child is gonna spy To see if reindeer really know how to fly
And so I’m offering this simple phrase To kids from 1 to 92 Although it’s been said many times, many ways Merry Christmas to you
And every mother’s child is gonna spy To see if reindeer really know how to fly
Begin with asking yourself the following questions concerning the content of the Song you have chosen: Who (am I) Whom (am I talking to) Where (am I ) What (am I saying) Why (am I saying it)
When you have answered the questions above, then proceed to establishing an „Opening Line“ which will motivate and trigger you to jump-start you into the role and setting of your song. This could be a one-liner, a question, something provocativ, kind of like a neon sign rocketing you into the „space“ you have created. Enjoy!

In order to feel support at the solar plexus, place one hand on the solar plexus and the other on your abdomen around the navel. When exhaling, the areas underneath your hands normally flatten and when inhaling they normally expand. When using support the upper bulge at the solar plexus MUST come out, while the lower bulge at the abdomen around the navel MUST go in. If at first it is difficult practise slowly, exaggerating the hold of each of the bulges until it becomes a familiar rocking-like movement. Be careful not to lock at any time – it mus be a continuous movement.
Singing on pitch is a „No pressure affair! A.) Practise „hearing awareness“ and learn to recognise and sing intervals B.) Practise singing a note on „oo“ and finding it on the piano… then do the opposite and sing the note after playing it on the piano, matching the pitches „spot on!“ C.) Practise singing the notes between the intervals from low to high and vice versa. D.) Practise recording your singing and listening with awareness! E.) Practise regularily…daily if possible…for short intervals of 15 – 30 Minutes F.) Be assured, that nothing can take the place of a trustworthy Vocal Coach
you always wanted to know what this means? When singing with „reduced density“ (CVT) the entire Larynx or thryroid is tilted forward. Because the vocal folds are attached to the thryroid, the forward movement of the thryroid results in the vocal folds being stretched without changing the pitch. This is the thyroid tilt. Singing with reduced density (a restrained, contained sound character) should be an artistic choice.

While it sounds like something out of Brave New World, it’s actually about self-improvement. There are numerous ways to incorporate mind and body biohacking methods into everyday life to improve the qualities or abilities of your voice.

What separates biohacking from the “norm“, is arguably not that it is a different type of activity, but that the activities are carried out with a certain mindset. The underlying philosophy is that we don’t have to accept our body’s imperfections – we can overcome them with a variety of vocal solutions. We can now begin our vocal transformation. Vocal biohacking gives people the opportunity to explore unconventional ideas in a nonhierarchical environment, transforming a feeling of being outside the norm into a cool identity. Maria durch ein Dornwald ging, Kyrie eleison. Maria durch ein Dornwald ging, der hat in sieben Jahr´n kein Laub getragen. Jesus und Maria.
Was trug Maria unter ihrem Herzen? Kyrie eleison.

Each Mode has a certain character, as well as advantages and limitations. It is important to be able to change freely between the modes in order to make the most of their advantages when singing and avoid their limitations, by implementing the 3 overall principals regardless of the mode.
(1) Nothing is forever in this world, not even our problems (2) I love walking in the rain because no one can see my tears. (3) The most lost day in life is the day we don’t laugh. (4) The six best doctors in the world: the sun / rest / sports / healthy diet / self-esteem / friends. …keep to them in all phases of your life and enjoy a healthy life. When YOU see the moon, YOU will see the beauty of God. When YOU see the sun, YOU will see the the power of God. When YOU look in a mirror, YOU will see God’s best creation.
s not just wishing. It is mentally rehearsing to get what you want. It is a mindset tool that Artists, Musicians, Singers use to compete at the highest possible level and achieve their goals – CONCEIV / BELIEVE / ACHIEV. 1.) Know what you want. Follow your hearts burning desire. 2.) Visualize what you want. Visualize yourself doing the work to get the things you want. Visualize yourself taking the steps to make the things you want a reality. 3.) Feel it in your body. Research has proven that you stimulate the same regions in your brain when you visualize and feel yourself performing (an action) as when you actually do it. Oympic athletes use this technique to mentally train and perform their very best. Of course Singers can do the same!
Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water? Mary did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters? Did you know that you baby boy has come to make you new? And this child that you’ve delivered will soon deliver you Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to the blind man? Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm the storm with his hand? Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? When you kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God Oh Mary did you know Oh Mary did you know Oh Mary did you know Oh Mary did you know Oh Mary did you know Oh Mary did you know Oh Mary did you know The blind will see, the deaf will hear, The dead will live again, The lame will leap, The dumb will speak The praises of the Lamb! Of the Lamb! The praises of the Lamb! Of the Lamb! Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation? Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations? Did you know that your baby boy is Heaven’s perfect Lamb? The sleepping child you’re holding is the great I am!
if you sing something over and over again your brain will remember the action. This is called building up your ‚muscle memory‘, meaning that the muscles get used to responding in a certain way and will learn to function automatically in the future. It is important, therefore, to establish healthy routines.
a „relative“ term.If you achieve what you desire and are happy, then that is your success! Achieving personal goals…the accomplishment of an aim or purpose… being happy with an outcome. Success is something each one of undefines for himself… no one can do that for you. That is the great part of what success is. You are the only one who can make the decisions in your life that will determine your success. You are the only one who knows what you want in life, so you owe it to yourself to become everything you were meant to be. www.vocalsuccessstudio.de
holding back the breath which is done by attempting to hold the diaphragm down which is done by keeping the lower ribs extended and pulling in the abdomen around the navel and tightening the muscles of the upper back and attempting to curve the lower back in a continuous movement as though working against a reisitance. Support means working against the natural urge of the diaphragm to release the air. This is achieved through an interaction of three muscle groups: the abdomen, the loin, and the back.
having a vision means we have a clear sense of purpose. It means we have a much larger picture of business or our life than simply sitting and reaching short-term goals and tackling problems as they come our way. Visions are driven by passion and dreams and they are reflected through genuine efforts and hard work in order to create tangible results! Once you have your vision your road map starts to become clear. Nobody is going to drive the car for you. You need to decide where it is you want to go and then follow your „GPS Plan. Consistent daily practise is how you make that happen. Just like watering your plants consistently will help them to grow.
Classically trained singers can sing CCM (Contemporary Commercial Music). This being said, you don’t have to disgard your technique. Simply start by singing with more intention with a soft smile or (bite) from east to west (on Vowels A, O and U) rather than from north to south. „You’re never fully dressed without a smile“ from the Musical OLIVER describes it perfectly: „…it’s what you wear from ear to ear, and not from head to toe that matters“. Changing your Sound Color from dark to bright will also give you a more authentic CCM sound. It is also very important in singing CCM authentically, to reduce the amount of resonance you allow into your sound. Trick: Resonance Clouds are in the direction of North and not to the east and west.

is one of the best all-around vocal exercises. This technique helps stretch the vocal cords, relaxes your facial muscles, and improves breathing. Humming also develops your vocal resonance and tone quality. Just for a change: try humming on “n” instead of “m” – feel how that resonates above the tongue in the upper cavity of your mouth and at the same time feel how your vocal tract (made up of the whole mouth cavity, from the vocal cords to the nasal passages) and throat are open and free.
is a deep breathing technique. It works by distracting your mind as you count to four, calming your nervous system, and decreasing stress in your body. A simple, but powerful relaxation technique that can help return your breathing pattern to a relaxed rhythm. It can clear and calm your mind, improving your focus. Exhale through your mouth to a count of 4, hold your lungs empty for a count of 4, inhale through your nose to a count of 4, and hold the air in your lungs for a count of 4 before exhaling and beginning the pattern anew. Box breathing can reduce stress and improve your mood. That makes it an exceptional treatment for conditions such as anxiety, panic, performance stress, and Xmas hectic.
drink enough water… take vocal naps… don‘t sing from your throat… don’t sing if it hurts…build up your muscle memory…establish healthy routines…avoid uncontrolled throat constrictions…trust your own judgement when something feels uncomfortable or wrong…CVT teaches us, that technique should immediately have the intended effect otherwise the training is not being done correctly… do not confuse taste with tehcnique…make your own artistic choices and decide how you want them to sound…correct pronunciation of vowels is of utmost importance for our technique to function properly…if you identify and solve the main problem, many other minor problems will be solved at the same time… practise with other singers and have fun…
simply vibrate your lips together without pitch, at first. This will help build up your breath support. Next, add a pitch to your lip buzz, and hold it anywhere from 3-5 seconds connecting your breath support to your voice placement. Pitch can go up, down, or stay on one note. If you have trouble making the buzzing sound, you can place your index fingers on the center of your cheeks to give your lips more “slack.” You can achieve the same effect by rolling your tongue. This is called a tongue trill.
Mee, May, Mah, Mo, Moo: 11111,1111,54343, 1234,54314 – Start at middle C, and sing the excercise in Minor chromatics up the scale. Take your time and then choose a tempo in which you can sing this exercise all in one breath. Focus on your intonation to create the best vocal sound. Don’t push – sing nice and relaxed. (Credits: C. Porter)
The Siren: Think of the sound of a fire engine passing by, and imitate it with your voice. Start at the lowest note in your range, and slide through every note to the top of your range and back down again on whichever vowel you prefer.
Once you get in the habit, you’ll love the freedom and flexibility of a brushed-up voice.
